This food inflation trend had been on a trajectory of decline since December 2023, hitting its lowest point in July 2024 before showing an increasing trend from August 2024 to October 2024. The November 2024 data indicated a reversal of that rise, as inflation declined again, mainly attributed to the reduction in the “food & beverages” group inflation.
