The Ministry of Ayush, in collaboration with the National Ayush Mission, Uttar Pradesh, played a crucial role in Maha Kumbh 2025 by establishing 20 AYUSH OPDs, wellness camps, and extensive healthcare outreach for devotees.   1. OPD Network
    • 20 Ayush OPDs were manned by over 90 doctors and 150 healthcare workers, offering around-the-clock consultations for common ailments and chronic conditions.
  2. Daily Yoga Sessions
    • Conducted by experts from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), these sessions guided pilgrims in therapeutic yoga from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at prominent camps.
  3. Mobile Ayush Units
    • Deployed across the Mela area to reach areas with high footfall, distributing herbal and homoeopathic remedies.

Impressive Patient Footfall

  • Over 8 lakh devotees received consultation or treatment under AYUSH streams, demonstrating growing trust in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, and Naturopathy.
  • Preventive measures like dietary guidance and simple yoga postures helped many pilgrims manage stress and fatigue during their spiritual stay.

Ayush Raksha Kits & Medicinal Plant Distribution

  1. Ayush Raksha Kits
    • 10,000 kits, packed with essential Ayurvedic medicines, were distributed by the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA).
  2. Medicinal Plants
    • 25,000 plants provided by the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) included herbs like tulsi, neem, and ashwagandha, promoting self-care even after devotees returned home.

  • Set up in Sector-2, Sector-21, and Sector-24, these convention halls hosted daily wellness sessions covering topics like:
