- Quazigund to Banihal section – 18 Km – with longest operational railway transportation tunnel – Pir Panjal tunnel – 11.215 Km – opened to public on 26th June 2013.
- Udhampur to Katra section – 25 Km long – opened to public on 4th July 2014.
